Organizing your samples effectively can streamline your workflow and improve creativity. In this tutorial, we’ll show you two easy ways to create a collection in the Samplesound AI app.
1. Creating a Collection from the Collections Page
- From the left-side menu, click on Collections.
- In the top right corner, click Create Collection.
- A popup window will appear where you can enter your collection details:
- Label → Collection title
- Description → (Optional) Notes about the collection
- Color selection → Helps visually organize collections (e.g., red for Techno, blue for House)
- Pin this collection → Keeps the collection easily accessible in the expanded left menu
📌 Once you're satisfied with the details, click Create. Your new collection is now ready!
🎨 The cover image will automatically be set based on the first sample added.
2. Creating a Collection from Any Sample List
- Find a sample you want to add to a collection.
- Click the Actions button (three dots in the bottom right corner of the sample card).
- Select Add to Collection.
- You can either:
✅ Add the sample to an existing collection
✅ Click Create New Collection and fill in the details (as in Method 1). The selected sample(s) will be added automatically.
